A Nebraska native born in Kimball, Joel attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney, earning his Bachelor of Education in 1998. While there, he quarterbacked for their football team.

After graduating, Joel became an entrepreneur in Kearney then took a job as a sporting goods outside sales manager. Moving to Omaha in 2005, he began his insurance career becoming licensed in Life, Health, P&C, Series 6 and Series 63.
Joel joined our UNICO Papillion office in June of 2010 where he will be instrumental in growing our personal and individual health services.
Joel and his wife, Stephanie, are members of Westside Church in Omaha. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, all sporting events and coached varsity football for several years.
